Manually Operated Rifle For Business Purposes

This unit standard applies to persons who will, through the application of knowledge of the current legislation, carry, handle, shoot and maintain a manually operated rifle or carbine for business purposes. A person credited with this unit standard will be able to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of safe handling principles in a business environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the mechanical functioning of the manually operated rifle or carbine.
• Demonstrate knowledge of manually operated rifle or carbine use under adverse condition
